King to get rain patents

The National Research Council will present local and international rain-making patents to the King now that registration has been completed. The Royal Household Bureau earlier asked the council to seek registration of the patents.

The Intellectual Property Department issued the local patent on June 2, 2003.

The National Research Council sought international registration with the European Patent Office, which issued patent 1491088 for the King's ''Weather Modification by Royal Rainmaking Technology'' on Oct 12, 2005, council secretary-general Anont Boonyaratavej said.
